I have always been fascinated with the life cycle of the butterfly. As a kid, I would capture caterpillars and watch them spin a cocoon. Usually, they ended up being a boring old moth, but occasionally, I found one that transformed into a butterfly.

This timelapse of a Monarch butterfly’s transformation is simply beautiful!

One of the things in my bucket list is to travel Europe and find castles. Some of the most beautiful buildings ever made can be found on that list, in my opinion. Until such a time as I can do that, videos like this one will have to suffice.

Today, the US celebrates her independence from Britain, in 1776. But as Christians, we have a freedom that is even greater than this!

In honor of Independence Day, here is a video of John Schlitt performing Whiteheart’s song, Independence Day, even including Whiteheart’s Billy Smiley on guitar.

This is from the era of Christian music I grew up listening to and loved. I hope you enjoy!

What better way to celebrate Easter and the empty tomb than by seeing Peter and John experience the Resurrection firsthand?

John 20:3-10 (NASB)

So Peter and the other disciple went forth, and they were going to the tomb. The two were running together; and the other disciple ran ahead faster than Peter and came to the tomb first; and stooping and looking in, he saw the linen wrappings lying there; but he did not go in. And so Simon Peter also came, following him, and entered the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there, and the face-cloth which had been on His head, not lying with the linen wrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself. So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. For as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their own homes.

Easter is just around the corner, on March 27th. And it is a perfect opportunity to share the message of the gospel with those around us.

We have the Good News! The message of the gospel is that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the grave, conquering death and hell forever! That’s worth sharing.

This video, by The Skit Guys, presents the need to pass the message on to our friend and family in a very humorous way. Enjoy!

Citizens-WebI discovered a band called Citizens through a friend on Facebook the other day. These guys are from Seattle, and have an incredible sound. If you are a David Crowder fan, you need to give these guys a listen. I’m pretty impressed, and have had this playing all week.

Right now, you can get their latest album free on Noisetrade. I don’t know how long this will last, so if you want it, you’d better grab it while it’s there.

Enjoy this video of one of the songs on this album, called I Am Living In A Land Of Death.
