April already! It’s crazy how time seems to fly by sometimes.
April Fool’s Day was yesterday, and I hacked Heather’s Facebook to tell the world that she was pregnant with our sixth (she’s not). But the comments generated were very entertaining!
In case you missed them, here are my top seven posts for the month of March:
- Moving In A New Direction (with our upcoming move to Florida, this is no surprise)
- Invisible Children: Speak Out Without Speaking
- The Maniac And The Messiah
- The Difference Between Purpose, Vision, and Mission
- The Principle Of The Path by Andy Stanley – Extended Review Part 4
- Tips For Becoming More Consistent In Your Bible Reading
- Memorize Scripture With Me!
As I mentioned above, it doesn’t surprise me that the post about our new ministry opportunity in Florida generated the most traffic. I knew that it would, at least for a few weeks. What does surprise me, and has for more than a few months, is that the fourth part of my review of Andy Stanley’s book, The Principle Of The Path, gets so much attention, while the other installments never make the list. Very interesting.
Also, since my post on the Hubble Deep Space Field was hacked at the end of 2011, repairing my site must have disrupted the page-ranking that Google gave that post originally. My Hubble post was in the number one slot every month until that event. Now it’s way down on the list.
My favorite post written in March was How To Determine God’s Will For My Life. It answers a question I hear a lot in youth ministry.
If you are a blogger, leave a comment with your top post for the month. If you don’t blog, leave a comment with a favorite post or blog that you read this month.
My top post was What Can 20 Seconds of Insane Courage Do For You? – http://www.jmlalonde.com/what-can-twenty-seconds-of-insane-courage-do-for-you/
It really resonated with my readers and challenged them to use their courage. They never know what could happen when they do.
I remember that one. I forwarded it on to a friend of mine who needed it.
Thanks Jeff! Glad you liked it enough to pass it on.
My top post was a re-post titled, Ten Things Every Small Group Leader Should Know. Here’s the link: http://www.jonstolpe.com/2012/03/07/ten-things-every-small-group-leader-should-know-2/
That was excellent information!
