This page contains the resources that I have found useful in my personal and professional life. Admittedly, it is an eclectic list. It contains everything from quotes and books that I like to podcasts, videos, and slideshows.
If you don’t want to scroll through the entire list, you can click on one of the links below and filter the resources by specific category.
I will update this list as I discover new resources. If you have a resource you think I should add, please email me.
We are just a couple days away from the New Year, and many people are thinking of the big picture, setting goals, and making resolutions. Those are all good things to one degree or another. But without a plan and strategy to implement them, you might not get very far with any of them. This article by Scott Slayton provides nine probing questions to ask yourself as you enter into the New Year.
Do not call to mind the former things,
Or ponder things of the past.
Behold, I will do something new,
Now it will spring forth;
Will you not be aware of it?
I will even make a roadway in the wilderness,
Rivers in the desert.
Merry Christmas from our family to yours! May your holiday be blessed as you celebrate the birth of our Savior.
But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.
You cannot travel within and stand still without.
Finding something worth reading can be a bigger challenge than many people realize. There are a lot of books out there that simply are not worth putting the time and effort into, and you walk away with nothing, or with false teaching and deceit. Thankfully, though, there are multiple beneficial options. Tim Challies has gathered several book lists of the top Christian books of 2017 and compiled them into one easy location. Neither Tim Challies nor I can endorse all of these personally, but you can check out the reviews for yourself and see if it’s something you want to read.
